|
|
I recently re-imaged my machine and installed SQL DG on D:. When I open projects created from a SQL DG installed on C:, I get a lot of problems like: File Missing. File 'C:\Program Files\Red Gate\SQL Data Generator 1\Config\NamesFirst.txt' is missing.
Is there a way to tell the program where to find these files? They're all there on D:\Program Files\Red Gate\SQL Data Generator 1\Config. The alternative I guess is to put these files on the C: drive.
Thanks. |

One further note. If I open the project file as XML, I could go through it and change all those paths, but I'd rather not.
Thanks. |

We currently have no way in SQL Data Generator to specify that the location of the generators have changed. I have logged this as a feature request in our tracking system and it will be considered for a future release.
In the meantime, may I suggest you run a quick find/replace in Notepad on the project files in question? |
