Majority of use is with SQL Compare and SQL Doc. Everything was working fine one day... come in the next day and everything not working (no changes made, no updates, nothing).
SQL Doc sees dbs when connected to server, but when I click to expand there is nothing shown.
SQL Compare errors out upon live db compare with following error:
A transport-level error has occured when receiving results from the server. (provider: TCP-provider, error: 0 - an existing error was forcibly closed by remote host). |

| added: Server(s) ping fine... Also, all dbs and data is visible/editable via SQL Server Management Studio. |

Glad you got it sorted out - meant to respond yesterday but .NET remoting was frying my brain at the time. _________________ Richard Mitchell

Richard--
Maybe it's time to consider Windows Communication Foundation. _________________ Brian Donahue

Yeah well I doubt if I'm going to get away with .NET 3 - I wouldn't like to install it that's for sure. _________________ Richard Mitchell
