Hi there, after installing Log Rescue and letting it retrieve and analyze my 250MB transaction log for 4 hours I finally gave up and hit the cancel button. The DB Backup itself is 31GB. Was I not being patient enough? The hardware doing the analysis is a dual 2.8ghz Pentium with 1GB RAM running Win2k advanced server. Thoughts? Should I let it try longer or is there something else going on? _________________ Gregory Harris

Hi Gregory
Sorry that you have ran into this problem. I suspect that this issue is linked to the 'Timeout' issues reported elsewhere in the SQL Log Rescue forum.
To ensure that I have the facts correct, after selecting the Database Backups to be analysed and you have clicked 'finished' to close the Projects Settings wizard. SQL Log Rescue takes hours to retrieve and analyse the backup files?
