| A "Zoom to object" context menu in the "Objects in project" window (the one to the right) would be helpful |

Not quite what you're looking for, but if you click on an object in the "Objects in project" view, if it's not in the displayed portion of the diagram then the diagram will scroll to that object. At this point it doesn't change the zoom level though. I'll add this to the list of improvements for the next version.
