You can determine when SQL Prompt displays the candidate list and the schema panel. You can also switch off support for SQL Prompt in your query editor.
To set the availability of SQL Prompt, on the SQL Prompt menu in your query editor, click Options, and then click the Availability tab.

To reset the options on the Availability tab to their default values, click Restore Defaults.
By default, SQL Prompt is turned on. To turn off SQL Prompt, under SQL Prompt Availability, select Off.
SQL Prompt automatically displays the candidate list as you type. You can specify the delay, in milliseconds, before SQL Prompt displays the candidate list; under Candidate List, type or select the amount of time in the Delay in milliseconds box.
You can set SQL Prompt so that it displays the candidate list only when you press CTRL+SPACEBAR; under Candidate List, select Manual.
When there is appropriate information to show about an item in the candidate list, SQL Prompt automatically displays the schema panel. You can specify the delay, in milliseconds, before SQL Prompt displays the schema panel; under Schema Panel, type or select the amount of time in the Delay in milliseconds box.
To hide the schema panel, under Schema Panel, select Don't show.
By default, you can switch between the categories in the candidate list by pressing CTRL+LEFT ARROW and CTRL+RIGHT ARROW. To switch off these shortcut keys, under Category Navigation, clear the Enable CTRL + arrow keys to switch categories check box.
