Section 508 Compliance and Red Gate SQL tools

At Red Gate, we want to create tools that are accessible for people with disabilities. To help you make an informed choice about our tools, we are pleased to provide VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates) for them.

What is the VPAT?

The VPAT is a template for evaluating our software's compliance with 508 standards. It was initially developed by the Information Technology Industry Council.

They describe the purpose of the VPAT:

"…to assist Federal contracting officials and other buyers in making preliminary assessments regarding the availability of commercial 'Electronic and Information Technology' products and services with features that support accessibility."

For more information, see the ITIC.org VPAT web page

Red Gate provides a VPAT detailing the compliance of tools in our SQL Toolbelt. Note that it is correct at the time of writing, but is subject to change as we develop our tools.
