When connecting to the Alert repository using Windows 7, and error may occur:
An error occurred while processing the request on the server: System.IO.Exception: The write operation failed, see inner exception. --->
System.Net.NTAuthentication.DecryptNtlm(Byte payload, Int32 offset, Int32 count, Int32 newOffset, UInt32 expectedSeqNumber)
The issue stems from Windows 7 RTM clients that are part of an Active directory domain and seems to have been triggered by a recent windows update to Windows Authentication that breaks compatibility.
The solution is to install the latest Microsoft Security updates.
