When creating a backup job using the wizards some of the user databases may not be listed

When using either the Backup Wizard or the Scheduled Backup Wizard step 2 in the SQL Backup GUI, In the "Select databases" and "backup types" dialog boxes, one or more of your user databases may be absent from the "User" database category.

If the database participates in replication, either as publisher or subscriber, the database will be listed in a separate category from "User". Replicated databases appear in the "Replication" tree of the database list. Expand the "Replication" Branch and the replicated database will be listed here.
