Console taking a long time to start up

SQL Backup GUI may take a long time to load up, appearing to hang but loading eventually.

This may be caused by too many log files held by SQL Backup - strangly enough there seems to be little effect up to about 5000 logs files but any more log files can create a sharp increase in the delay to start up.

The remedy is to archive and clear the log directory located at:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Backup\Log\<instance name>

The SQL Backup GUI will then startup promptly.
