SQL Backup

Knowledge Base
Cannot schedule log shipping on case-sensitive servers
Category: Troubleshooting & error messages
Date: 28 May 2009
Product: SQL Backup
Versions: 5.0-5.1
Platform: Any
Fix Version: 5.2
When setting up log shipping, it will fail on SQL Servers that use case-sensitive collation. The @sqlerrorCode variable is declared with a capital C and assigned to later on as @sqlerrorcode with a lower-case c, resulting in a 'Must declare the scalar variable "@sqlerrorcode"'
This issue has been resolved in SQL Backup 5.2. Unfortunately there is no workaround for earlier version of the software.
