Embedded items not showing in Outlook preview pane

When viewing an archived message in the Outlook Preview Pane, embedded content is displayed as a placeholder, for instance, an empty box.
Double-clicking the message will display it as it was meant to be seen. This issue only occurs with emails whose body is in Rich Text Format. In order to display the message in the preview pane, Outlook must convert the RTF to HTML, and that conversion process sometimes causes loss of data. In order to solve the problem, it would be necessary for ESA to implement its' own custom format conversion library and not rely on the one provided by Outlook.
