Lines of source code do not align with hit count, time data in version 3

Upon examination of the source code window in ANTS Profiler, it may appear that the individual lines of source code do not line up horizontally with the hit count and time information.

This is a side-effect of ANTS Profiler not retaining the source code into the profiling results. ANTS Profiler has to retrieve the source code from the original location every time the profiling results are viewed. If the source code is subsequently modified after profiling, this could be the result.

In ANTS Profiler version 4, the source code can be saved into the same file as the results, which would prevent the problem when caused by a difference in source code files.

Another possible reason is that the debugging information needs to be regenerated. If profiling had been done once, then the application was rebuilt without Visual Studio's 'generate debugging information' setting and profiled again, this could be the result. Because the program database (PDB file) contains pointers to lines of source code in the previous version of your application, ANTS Profiler will potentially align its' source code metrics to the wrong lines of code.
