Fast mode and memory profiling options unavailable

When starting a new profiling project, the "'Fast Mode" and "'Memory Profiler" options are grayed out.

ANTS Profiler has two editions available: the professional edition and the lower-cost standard edition. The professional edition adds fast mode profiling and memory profiling, so these options would be grayed out in the standard edition. Upgrading to the professional edition would be one way to solve this problem if your ANTS Profiler serial number is only valid for the standard edition.

There is also a known issue in the licensing code that affects ANTS when purchased as part of the .NET Developer Bundle (ANTS Profiler, Exception Hunter, etc) that activates ANTS Profiler as the standard edition when the .NET Developer Bundle should include the professional edition of ANTS. This bug manifests itself when Exception Hunter is activated before ANTS Profiler. Activating ANTS Profiler first will prevent this from happening.

If Exception Hunter and ANTS Profiler have already both been activated in that order, it is possible to fix the problem by reversing the ANTS Profiler activation and re-activating it.

After starting ANTS Profiler, access the about box by clicking Help->About ANTS Profiler from the menu. Right-click your serial number and select 'Enter new serial number'. This will take you through the activation process once again.

ANTS Profiler should now have all of the professional edition features enabled.
