Getting help offline

Help content for our products can be downloaded as a CHM file. You can download help for current and previous versions of our products using one of the links below, or from the individual product support page.

Making help context sensitive

You can use a downloaded CHM as context sensitive help (help reached from the Help menu or by pressing F1 in the application) by saving it to the installation folder, which is typically

C:\Program Files\Red Gate\ProductName

If a CHM file is present in this folder it is used as the default help rather than the web site.

Delete or move the CHM file to return to using web-based help.

Web-based help content is usually updated more frequently than CHM files. For this reason we recommend that you use web-based help rather than downloading the CHM file.

Downloading the latest help

You can download help for the current versions of the listed products using one of the links below.

You can download help for previous versions of our products, and the SQL Comparison SDK from the individual product support page. You cannot currently download help for SQL Response, SQL Multi Script or Exchange Server Archiver.
