Version information - SQL Storage Compress

SQL Storage Compress consists of the SQL Storage Compress user interface and the HyperBac Compression Engine Components.

SQL Storage Compress user interface

To find out which version of the SQL Storage Compress user interface you are using, open the Help menu and select About. The version number is displayed on the right-hand side of the dialog, above the serial number.

To find out the latest available version of the SQL Storage Compress user interface, see Current Versions on the Red Gate Support Center. Alternatively, from the Help menu select Check for Updates to check if a later version is available and download it if required.

HyperBac Compression Engine Components

To find out which version of the HyperBac Compression Engine Components you are using, go to the system tray, right-click the HyperBac Control Service icon and select About. The About HyperBac dialog is displayed, showing the installed version of the HyperBac Compression Engine Components.

To find out the latest available version of the HyperBac Compression Engine Components, see Current Versions on the Red Gate Support Center. The latest version of the components is included in the SQL Storage Compress .zip file, which you can download from the Red Gate website.
