Information about who made a change is displayed in the Commit Changes tab. By default, this information is saved in tempdb.

Because tempdb only stores temporary data, information about changes is eventually lost and cannot be recovered.

When this happens, the Changed By column lists the object as changed by Unknown:

To stop this happening, you can create a new database to log changes in. This makes sure information is preserved, and database administrators can set appropriate security restrictions.
