SQL HyperBac

Installing and activating

Installation

Installation is straightforward, with an install wizard that walks you through the installation process.

Note that, if you are upgrading from an earlier version of the software (previously known as "HyperBac for SQL Server"), you will need to reboot your server before you can use SQL HyperBac.

At the end of the installation process, an activation dialog is displayed.

Activation

SQL HyperBac uses the standard Red Gate licensing and activation program. For more information, see Activating your products.

To re-run the licensing and activation program after you've installed SQL HyperBac, right-click the HyperBac Status Manager  in the Windows system tray, and select Licensing.
