Exporting a list of dependencies
You can export a list of all dependencies in the project to a PDF file. You may want to do this, for example, as part of a report on the dependencies between objects in a database.
To export a list of dependencies:
- on the File menu, click Export, then click PDF, and then click Dependency List
After you have selected the file that you want to export to, a progress indicator is displayed while the list is exported to PDF, and then the list is opened in your default PDF viewer.
When you export a list of dependencies, the exported version shows the dependencies for all visible objects in the project (not just the list of dependencies that is displayed in the Dependencies pane). The objects are shown in alphabetical order, and for each object there is a list of other objects that it is Used By or it Uses.
