Version 7.1 – September 22, 2008
Version 7.1 is a minor release of SQL Data Compare. Along with a number of bugfixes it is now possible to trial the SQL Data Compare command line in continuous integration environments.
Version 7.0 – July 14, 2008
- Full SQL Server 2008 support
- New data types include:
- Spatial data types
- Temporal data types
- Hierarchy data types
- Variable initialization
- Sparse columns
- and many other features
- New collations and many other new features
Limitations
- SQL Server 2008 backups with file stream data in them may not be work in all cases. This will be resolved when the SQL Server 2008 RTM becomes available.
