Maintenance tasks

You can monitor and change your configuration by using the Maintenance tab.

Exchange organization

The Exchange organization that the Archive Services have detected are displayed on the left-hand side.

  • for Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2007, the registered Exchange servers are displayed
  • for Exchange Server 2010, the registered Database Availability Groups (DAGs) and registered Exchange servers that are not in a DAG are displayed

Right-click the name of an Exchange server or DAG to view its properties or to set an archive rule.

Services

The services that you have registered are displayed on the right-hand side of the Maintenance tab, with information on their status.

To install a service on another server, click Install Service.

If you have installed a service but it is not displayed in the list, select the appropriate option from the Register button to register the service.

To view the properties of a service, right-click the service and click Properties.

Archive Stores

To see the Archive Stores that have been added to a Storage Service, expand the Storage Service in the right-hand pane.
