Installation overview

This topic provides an overview of how you install Exchange Server Archiver. For a pdf file containing all the information on installing and configuring Exchange Server Archiver, see Installing Exchange Server Archiver.

To install Exchange Server Archiver, you must have domain administrator privileges.

  1. Install the Admin Console.

    The Admin Console provides the interface for you to configure and manage Exchange Server Archiver.

  2. Install the services and components.

    To do this, open the Admin Console and click the Launch Configuration Wizard button. The Configuration wizard takes you through installation of the services and components. Installing the services and components provides some supporting information to help you with the installation.
