Automation with Red Gate tools - 1.0
Activating your Automation License - Automation with Red Gate tools
If you are automating with the NAnt build scripts
Enter the serial number in the sqlCI.build file under the heading Automation license serial number.
This will license all of the command line tools when the build runs.
If you are automating with the TFS or MSBuild scripts
Enter the serial number in the sqlCI.targets file under the heading Automation license serial number.
This will license all of the command line tools when the build runs.
If you are automating using the TeamCity plugin
Go to the configuration page for the build runner in TeamCity.
Click the arrow next to the Help link at the top of the page:

And click Enter serial number. The Red Gate Licensing page appears.
Under Enter your Automation License serial number, enter the serial number and click Save.
This will license all the command line tools when the build runs.
If you are automating using sqlCI.exe
Use the command line argument --licenseSerialKey=[serial number]. This will pass the license number to the command line tools that sqlCI.exe calls.
If you are automating using only the command line tools
License each tool individually using the command line argument /activateSerial:[serial number]. The same Automation License serial number can be used for each tool if they are all used in the same automated process.
