Hi all,
I've just installed SQL Monitor 2.3 on my local machine which is running both the web server and the monitor service. The database is sitting on another machine running SQL Server 2008 R2.
I've set up the website per the instructions in the install for IIS 7, and I can get to the website itself, but as soon as I get there via http://localhost:8090/RedGateMonitor I get the following:
I set everything during the install package to use my domain credentials and I can see the service running, connecting as my domain credentials.
Note, I've just installed this as a trial version, ergo it's on my pc running with my own credentials.
Any thoughts on which credentials are incorrect and where I can go to fix/check them would be appreciated.
Thanks. |

Hi,
Could you check that you have configured IIS to use the DefaultAppPool with SQL Response and that the DefaultAppPool is using the Integrated Managed Pipeline Mode and is running as the ApplicationPoolIdentity.
Cheers,

It would also be worth trying to deleting
C:\ProgramData\Red Gate\SQL Monitor 2\Red Gate Monitor.pfx
then restarting the iis section of SQL Monitor.
Cheers,

I had the IIS settings set per your instructions already, but having deleted the Red Gate Monitor.pfx file it reprompted to set a password and I can get in now.
Thanks very much for your help. |
