When launching packager to connect to my local 2012 instance, after selecting my database I get the error "ExecuteReader: CommandText property has not been initialized".

I found a thread with a download for version 6.6 (which is not available via the update menu). I downloaded and installed; however upon opening that version the application would not even load as it would throw a "the parameter is not correct" error.

I've reverted back to version 6.4; however the original error reamins.

Please advise.

I'm guessing you're hitting this as SQL Packager doesn't support SQL 2012 as yet. I'm afraid I don't have an ETA on this as currently the development teams are focused on the CI & Deployment story.
