|
|
Our DB got around 4000 Objects in total.
syncing our Database in the local network takes around 1min.
trying to sync to our remote-database (latency 300ms) takes
forever, around 30-40 min.
is there any best-practise in comparing/syncing towards remote-dbs?
any help would be much appreciated

Thanks for your post.
There isn't much you can do to speed up the comparison, unfortunately.
What you might like to try would be to take a SQL Compare snapshot of the source schema, and then copy it over to the remote site. You can then do the sync' locally on the remote site. This should help if the problem is with communication over the WAN.
I hope it helps. _________________ Chris |
