For a data compare project can you set global columns to ignor as well as global where clauses?
I have the same two columns across many (perhaps all) tables that I would not want included in a compare. Also I have a fiscal year column in many (all?) that I would want to limit to, as an example FY = 2012.
Any thoughts? |

This isn't currently possible with the tool, but we'd love if you could post it as a feature suggestion on our UserVoice forum here:
http://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/147879-sql-data-compare-feature-suggestions
We use UserVoice to track feature requests - it lets us be a little more open, and because users can vote on features that they want to see it lets us make sure that we're always doing useful work. Thanks! _________________ Andy Campbell Smith

Craig & Andy,
I came here looking for this same feature. I went to the enhancement list and didn't see it there, so I went ahead and created it. You can just go vote for it Craig.
