Schema Doc retired

Red Gate is ending sales and development of Schema Doc for Oracle, effective March 7, 2013.

This means that new versions will not be forthcoming. The current code will not be made available, nor will the program be released for free as some of Red Gate's other discontinued products have been.

For existing customers, we will continue honouring requests for support until the end of the existing support agreements. We will continue to produce patches should any serious flaws arise during that time. For customers who have a valid support agreement, please email any support queries to support@red-gate.com, quoting your serial number.

The software will continue being available for download on our website and FTP site so that current owners of the software can continue to use it if they need to reinstall or update their current installations.

If there are any questions or comments, please feel free to contact us through our sales and support channels.

My thanks go out to everyone who has supported us over the years by evaluating, purchasing, and using Schema Doc for Oracle.
Hello Reiner,

Thank you for your request, there is no news I'm afraid, as we are currently focussing efforts on our Source Control for Oracle release.

We have recently launched a public feature request forum, and you'll see this has also been requested there:
http://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/174014-oracle-tools/suggestions/3317242

Thanks again,
Michael

Hi Reiner,

many thanks for your suggestion. We do not currently have that functionality in Schema Doc for Oracle. Other people have made the same request, and this is high on the list for the next version.

I will get in touch once we have something working.

Kind regards, Tom
